The President of the University, Professor Ahmed Boutarfaya, on the evening of Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at the meeting hall of the Directorate, held a coordination meeting with the heads of the scientific journals of the University of Biskra, in the presence of the Director of University Publications, Professor Rabeh Khouni. The University President began the session by praising the efforts made by the editors-in-chief to advance university journals to the classification c in the last order, encouraging the initiative of professors who sought to create new scientific journals in various specializations, which are the Journal of the Priest in the field of Psychology, and the Journal of International Cooperation in Political Science As well as the magazine Visions in Arabic Literature.
In turn, the director of university publications, in turn, and during his speech, directed the achievements that have been achieved in the promotion of the classification of these scientific journals to a union of the efforts of the heads of journals and their relentless pursuit and strong will to achieve the best under the guidance and guidance of the university director and his continuous follow-up of all steps with his keenness to create the conditions and provide the necessary capabilities for this knowledge production, He considered that continuing this path and improving the level of performance requires organizing other training sessions to enhance the competence of heads of scientific journals in order to keep pace with all developments on the global stage in this field.
The staff took the opportunity to clarify some of the issues that hinder the speed of the magazines’s advancement in the specific classifications, and their concerns met a great resonance with the university president, who renewed his material and moral support and stressed the need to find effective and practical solutions that allow smooth development, calling for greater effort in order to reach the highest classifications.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the director continued his directions and advice calling for continued efforts to achieve comprehensive coverage of all fields and specializations of the university through these journals, which gives the opportunity for PhD students to publish their production internationally and maintain it in a way that contributes to improving the university’s ranking in global sites, and then concludes the meeting with a stance of recognition of tangible efforts. By the editors-in-chief, where the director honored them in order to give them a moral boost, an expression of gratitude for their achievements.
