Team 01  : FAILURES DIAGNOSIS IN ENERGY SYSTEMS

*Modeling of the various failures present in an energy system,

• Use of analysis and signal processing techniques to detect faults,

• Industrial applications in hydraulics (pumping stations, exploitation of wind and solar energy).

Team 02 :   CONTROL OF ELECTRICAL  MACHINES

Active filtering:

• Reactive power consumption;

*Harmonic pollution in the network current;

• Deterioration of the power factor;

• Additional losses in the electrical network;

Control :

• Variable speed drive for pumping water.

* Variator for electric vehicle.

*Speed variator for industrial process.

Team 03 : RENEWABLE ENERGIES

*Control of renewable energy conversion systems (photovoltaic-Wind) connected to the network.

* Optimal energy management of hybrid renewable conversion systems: (PV, wind, fuel cells) applied to: Autonomous electrification, Pumping and desalination.

* Study of the optimal power flow of electrical networks, incorporating wind turbines, via non-deterministic methods (GA, PSO, DE).…

Team 4:  DIAGNOSIS OF ELECTRICAL MACHINES

*Study of faults in the electrical machine, their origin, as well as the different techniques used for preventive maintenance.

• Modeling by the finite element method of electromagnetic devices.

• Non-destructive testing using eddy currents.

Team 05 :  OPTIMIZATION AND ANALYSIS OF ELECTRICAL NETWORKS

*Ensure studies and expertise concerning new electrical networks for companies working in the field of electrical networks among others SONELGAZ,

 • Offer à la carte training for the technical staff of these companies to better adapt with new technologies for monitoring and analyzing electrical networks.

 • Develop decision support software for economic and environmental dispatching using new artificial intelligence methods such as genetic algorithms, artificial neural networks, etc.

• Offer technical-economic expertise solutions for large companies consuming large quantities of electricity in order to reduce their energy bills
